Shadetree Nursery is open to individuals, groups, docents, special requests, and our “Adopt-A-Row” participants.
Nursery Events are held on Saturdays only from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and volunteers are eligible to receive community service hours, if needed. Volunteers will need to wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. If it rains in the morning, the event will be cancelled as the nursery is outdoors. The nursery will be closed on holiday weekends as well.

Upon entering the Nursery, volunteers must provide a Waiver of Liability. You can fill one out at the kiosk upon entering the nursery, or download a copy from the link below and bring the completed form with you:

Shadetree Nursery is located on the campus of UC Irvine next to the Aquatic Center and Sports Field. Our address is 690 California Ave, Irvine, CA. 92617.
If needed, a downloadable parking pass to park at UCI’s East Campus Parking Structure will be emailed by our Volunteer Coordinator prior to the Event. Please print the parking pass and display it on the windshield of your vehicle.
